[And that's when Prompto walks in, towel still draped over his damp hair, and wearing a tank top and loose pants. He stops short, eyes darting from her face to the book.]
Uuh... You found... that. Oh no.
[He shuffles closer to the bed, torn between embarrassed and anxious. He hasn't even shown that book to Noctis!]
[Kaname's so engrossed in reading, she only notices him when he speaks. She looks up with a start, appearing a little sheepish at being caught. But his own expression has her relaxing, a sly grin making its way into place.]
About the grassy hill you crave or the whispering summer?
[She makes no motion to put it down or stop perusing.]
[It's always easy to see when he gets flushed or embarrassed thanks to his complexion. Thankfully, she doesn't take real pleasure in embarrassing him most of the time, certainly not when he feels bad. While Kaname doesn't put the book away (not yet), she does move it to one hand and scoot over to press against him. Stop scrubbing and hug her.]
I'm more interested in the Angel of Song I see mentioned a couple times.
[The towel drops around his shoulders, then slides off onto the bed. He's probably just as red - if not more so - but he's got his face against her shoulder now. Hugging is happening.]
[She can't help it, she starts laughing. Dropping the book beside her, Kaname slides both arms around him scoots over to sit in his lap.]
I can't say I've ever seen anyone write poetry about me before. [She's nice and doesn't say 'try to write.' With his face against her shoulder, she takes the opportunity to kiss the top of his head.]
Both. [So clearly both. She will not let this go until he tells her just about everything. As ridiculous as it is, she's somehow charmed by it all the more. Probably a little biased.]
And how you started as well. I'm not moving until you tell me.
That's all, huh? [Kaname leans her head back in mock thought.] I remember you ended up dropping me after offering to help me down from the tree. And you were the reason we ended up there in the first place... Yet somehow we end up like this.
[She lightly kisses the side of his neck.] How about the first one starring myself?

I can explain?

All of it. None of it. Um...
[He quickly finds a seat next to her on the bed and scrubs at his hair.]
You don't have to keep looking at it. I know it's bad.

I... that's, um. You.

When did this start?
no subject
When did I start writing poetry, or when did I start writing about you?

Probably a little biased.]And how you started as well. I'm not moving until you tell me.
[Such a horrible threat.]
no subject
Dunno when it started. When I was a kid, I guess. Just, trying to put words to the pictures I was taking. Never really stopped.
[He knows it sucks. He shrugs.]
I, um, I think the first one I wrote of you was after the bear.
no subject
Really, all the way back then? What was that one about? [Kaname snuggles against him slightly. No judgment.]

[He is not getting off easily.]

[Oh. That's nice...] Ah. Um, after that first date that wasn't a date?

Her next kiss is to a certain freckle on his jawline. It's going to be a fun evening.]
You liked me then, didn't you? Why didn't you ask me out properly?
no subject
[He suddenly doesn't regret all those dots on his face. And is feeling a little distracted.]
I didn't know you felt the same, and I'm not a big fan of rejection.
no subject
[The memory of that feeling isn't a good one, and Kaname unconsciously hugs him a little tighter to try and ward it off.]
But you know, when I was under the impression it was one, I was very happy. Like now.
[No extra kiss this time, but she go and slide her fingers into his hair on the back of his head.]
