It's still kind of weird for him to parse, and there's pain as well for sure, but in the latter's case it must be less cut-and-dry for Prompto. At some point in his life Besithia made a choice to become what he ended up as, while Ardyn had the hand of fate and Ifrit to at least in part thank for Izunia's twisted existence. Even Besithia himself is aware of that now.]
You ever think about how weird it is that we both ended up related to our own supervillains?
[It's a small offering and not one he'd expect Prompto to accept, considering the personal nature of the discussion and his own extra-biased opinion of Niffs, but he'd be a lousy friend if he didn't at least extend one.
What's extra weird is that the offer isn't for safety. It would be monumentally stupid for Besithia to try anything, but that hadn't stopped him from being on edge any time they were around one another. This time, for Prompto, it might actually be okay.]
