There's a smile in his voice as he rocks closer, hands moving up to twine together behind Ignis' neck.]
I'm happy you're happy. I'm...Me too. [He tries to say it back - "I love you" - but he can't get the words from his brain to his mouth. A part of him is still afraid to voice it. So instead he tries to pour it into another kiss - less urgent than the first.] I'm very happy too.
[ He's not caring about the wrinkled collar, though he knows that's happening. This moment is too important for them.
Ignis has his answer regardless, even if Prompto can't voice it right now. He's feeling it from Prom's reaction. He'll honestly wait until Prom's ready to say it himself. ]
I'm glad you are too, [ he says after a moment of quiet. ]
Prom... [ He withdraws back from the hug and lets his hand slide down Prompto's arm to his hand then he takes it in his, tugging on it a bit towards his bed. ]
[His fingers curl around Iggy's and he easily follows the tug.]
'Course. [As if he would refuse.
He hops onto the bed as soon as they reach it, letting go of Ignis only so he can push the pillows into a more comfortable arrangement, and then scoots far enough over for the other man to join him.]
[ Ignis waits on Prompto to get settled in the bed, using his hearing as a cue, then he gets onto the bed himself, stretching out and laying back. He reaches for Prompto to pull into his arms once more. ]
[Prompto curls into Ignis' arms, humming in contentment.] Can I ask you something? How long have you, like...wanted to be with me?
[He remembers Ignis telling him he had feelings for him, back when they'd been trapped under the mistletoe. But what he can't figure out is when those feelings started. Had he missed the signs?]
[ Ignis holds Prompto close to him and hms softly at the question.
He knows his answer, even if it taken him a while to untangle those feelings then. ]
When I was taking care of you, it honestly scared me to find you out in the cold like that. [ Then he'd found out that Noctis had gotten hurt; almost died no less, then Gladio had arrived shortly after that. Things were hectic for a while. The mistletoe had gotten him to open up.
Arriving here in this world has given him a break from life, things were rush rush back home on Eos after Altissia. There was no room to breath there. But on this world? It's given him time to reflect on what Prom did for him back on Eos. ]
It was my birthday when I felt myself falling in love with you. It took time to untangle those feelings.
[It's seems like ages ago that he'd sleep-walked out into the cold, though really it only been a handful of months. And the birthday party - that was almost two months ago. It sends a warm feeling through him, to know he'd been loved for that long, even if he didn't know it.
[He huffs, amused, as he's pulled into a new position. He folds his arms over Ignis' chest, tangles their legs together. His reply is a soft hum of assent.]
